The Birmingham Jewish Education Board (BJEB) is a joint initiative between Birmingham Central Synagogue and Birmingham Hebrew Congregation, the two orthodox synagogue bodies in Birmingham. It is responsible for the running of the cheder, Bat Chayil classes and the Adult Education Programme.

In addition the BJEB organises a twice annual series of lectures with high profile speakers from out of town.

The BJEB also operates a communal lending library with both books and DVDs of Jewish interest. This is based in the upstairs Malcolm Locker Room and is open Sunday mornings or by appointment.
