Regeneration Programme

Over the past decade Birmingham has become a very attractive place to move to for young professionals. It has undergone a major programme of
regeneration with many industrial sites being transformed into office blocks
and luxury apartment blocks, a new shopping centre (The Bull Ring) and many more infrastructure improvements.

The quality of life is good due to affordable living costs, many green areas
and parks as well us the close proximity to major transport and health
services.

The aim of the community Regeneration Programme is to build on this local regeneration by bringing in a nucleus of young families to strengthen the slow trickle of Birmingham-born singles who are returning, as well as kick start a move to attract more young families to move to Birmingham.

This will be achieved by supporting and reinforcing the current good level
of services for the Jewish community such as the mikvah, kosher shop and Jewish primary school, as well as adding some much needed resource to the community.

We are currently in recruitment mode for these pioneering young families so watch this space - and if you are considering relocating and want to make a different to a community, contact Rabbi Odze for an informal discussion.
