Roy Esh is a physiotherapist specialising in Occupational Health and currently works for the Occupational Health department at Sandwell Council borough. He is responsible for ensuring the physical wellbeing of staff across the borough, thus maximising the efficiency in the workplace.
Ergonomics, which is the process of arranging the workplace, is one of the principles for preventing work-related illness and injury. Evidence shows that sitting for long periods of time is not good for us, but in the current climate, we do not have much choice!
