Join us on Zoom at 8:00pm on Wednesday 24th February to find out if Delilah Really did cut Samson’s hair?

Aviva Goldschmidt Kaufmann will be looking at how a Rembrandt painting can help us delve into the intriguing, somewhat tragic, story of Samson and Delilah.

Aviva is a graduate of the LSJS Susi Bradfield Educational Leadership programme and recently co-chaired the Torah and Philosophy track at Limmud Festival. She is an active member of Hampstead Garden Suburb synagogue and is particularly committed to engaging more women in communal life. She established one of the first women’s Purim megilla readings in the UK some twenty years ago and organised women’s kabbalat shabbat in shul. She teaches maths at Gateways at JW3 to vulnerable young people who are unable to access mainstream education.
